We just got done with our annual Spring cleanup and gear preparation at Icy Bay Lodge, and we are ready to get the season rolling. One of the “little things” that excite us about our deep sea fishing season, besides catching monster Halibut, Ling Cod, and Kings, is the abundance of wild berries that are around the lodge.
In fact, you can step outside of your cabin in July and easily find a handful of fresh Strawberries or Salmonberries within 20 feet of you. I bet if you ask real nicely our chef will even make some pancakes with them…
